Ferry & Fly Great Barrier Island (Return Package)

This package offers a seamless combined travel experience including both your scenic flight and ferry transfer, designed to connect key coastal and island destinations with ease and comfort.

Your journey begins on the ferry which is coordinated around ferry sailing times as well as the specific port, which remain subject to final scheduling and may require flexibility to ensure smooth alignment between flight and sea connections.

The flight will depart from Great Barrier Island (Claris) with a check-in 30 minutes before the set departure time.

Passengers are permitted a total baggage allowance of 27kg per person, providing ample capacity for both short stays and extended island visits.

As part of your SeaLink ferry crossing, guests can enjoy a relaxed and scenic maritime journey across the Hauraki Gulf. The route often showcases rich coastal geography including volcanic island profiles, rugged shorelines, sheltered bays, and expansive open water views. Keep an eye out for local marine life such as dolphins, seabirds, and, on occasion, manta rays or whales passing through the gulf. The ferry itself offers a comfortable vantage point to take in the changing light over the water and surrounding island landscapes.
