Waiheke Island | Fly and Dine Experience

The ultimate experience. Board your plane in Auckland and enjoy the spectacular scenery & premium views of local landmarks on your extended scenic flight to Waiheke. Indulge in a fabulous 3-course meal & wine tasting at one of Waiheke’s premium vineyards overlooking the vineyards and views of Auckland. Finish the day off with your transfer to the ferry terminal or explore the island on your own and return to Auckland at your leisure on a later ferry. (Departing from Ardmore Airport or North Shore Airport, please include preference in special requirements box)

The package includes:

• Ground transfer from downtown accommodation to one of the airports (this can be a specified location)
• An extended scenic flight showcasing the beautiful Hauraki Gulf
• 3-course meal & wine tasting
• Ground transfer on the island
• Ferry ticket back to downtown Auckland

Ideal itinerary:

 

09:30 AM – Pick up from accommodation and transfer to one of the airports

10:15 AM – Depart from North Shore or Ardmore airport with an extended scenic flight

11:00 AM – Lunch & wine tasting at The Batch Vineyard

01:15 PM – Pick up & Ground transfer to Matiatia ferry terminal

02:00 PM – Ferry back to downtown Auckland

Please note that the ferry ticket is an open ticket, meaning they can stay on the island after lunch. We will be happy to drop them off at Oneroa village to look around the shops, walk on the beautiful beach (approximately 20 min walk from Oneroa village to Matiatia wharf) or even go and try a different vineyard afterwards (Waiheke taxies are available from any vineyards to Matiatia wharf). So please let us know your preference. 

Note – The restaurant venue can be changed to Stonyridge or Oyster Inn with an additional $100 pp (retail)

Reverse itinerary:

 

09:30 AM – Dropoff or self-transport to Auckland City Viaduct Fullers360

10:00 AM – Depart Auckland City Viaduct Fullers360 ferry terminal to Matiatia ferry terminal, Waiheke Island.

10:40 AM – Arrive into Matiatia with ground transport upon arrival to The Batch Vineyard. (Driver will notify you on the day)

11:00 PM – Arrive at the Batch for an 11:15am wine tasting followed by a 3-course lunch.

01:15 PM– Extended Scenic flight to North Shore Airport 

01:50 PM – Ground transport back to the city or to a specified drop-off location
