After taking off from Waiheke Airport, you will have a fantastic view of Waiheke Island’s coastline, beaches and many vineyards.
This flight path follows the coastline before breaking off to track towards Auckland City. Great views of Motuihe and Browns Islands before cruising past downtown Auckland, where your pilot will do a half orbit of the Sky tower, a great chance to get some awesome photos. On completion of the half orbit, you will be flown past the Harbour Bridge, Devonport Naval Base and North Head. From here you will fly over Rangitoto, peering into its crater before heading back to Waiheke for a landing amongst the Vineyards.
On completion of your scenic flight, head over to Batch Winery - one of the many award-winning vineyards on the island and a stone's throw from the airfield - to enjoy a glass of wine overlooking the island from the winery's unique vantage point.
